Nice to look at
Date:[May 21, 2013]
Nice to look at, easy to use. This is our second Moen kitchen faucet. We like this style rather than the higher one as this one fits the height of the back splash and dosn't interfere with the view to outside. A quality product.

Pretty soon even coins will be plastic...
Date:[May 20, 2013]
Is anyone else concerned that "everything" is plastic these days? I purchased and helped install a Moen faucet on May 18, 2013. On display (and out of reach) in the store it looked like brushed steel. When I opened the carton, however, I was disappointed to see that almost everything was plastic. Granted, installation was pretty easy, and I liked that the two water hoses were long enough to connect directly to the water source. I asked the retired plumber who installed the faucet if higher price equates to more metal. He doubted it. Anything other than plain water, mild soap and a cotton towel will scratch and degrade this new fixture. I'm half afraid of breathing on it in case something breaks. I paid $150 for this faux-metal faucet that replaced a mostly metal Moen faucet that lasted 12 years. How long will the new one last? Like I said, I'm holding my breath.

Great Product
Date:[May 17, 2013]
Excellant product! I chose the bone/ivory color and it complements my kitchen appliances to the tee! Although installed by a professional, from removal of old to installation took only 45 minutes. Looks so sleek and so easy to use! I would highly recommend!!!

Looks Great......until you actually try to use it.
Date:[April 21, 2013]
We bought this faucet as part of a new counter project for our kitchen. Like lots of the other reviewers, this faucet looked great 10 feet up on the wall. We didn't know it was plastic until we got it out of the box and started to install it.
The installation went very easy. I comment Moen for that.
Where things started to fall apart (pun intended) was after using the faucet for a while. The sprayer head doesn't fit tight into the receptacle anymore since the PLASTIC receptacle is now worn......something that wouldn't happen with metal. If you try to turn the faucet by the sprayer (a normal tendency I would think), the sprayer is going to pop out of the receptacle and then you have to replace the sprayer and push the faucet over at the base.
Also, the spray pattern will only stay on when the faucet is at a mid-range flow or higher. Maybe this is by design or maybe it's a poor design.......I don't know which but I do know it's aggravating to have the sprayer drop out because the faucet isn't turned on far enough.
As soon as I am able, I'm going to our counter store and get one of the all-metal faucets that they have on display there and replace this clunker.

Not a good faucet. Surprised with Moen.
Date:[April 9, 2013]
Moen used to be a go to product not only because of quality, but also for their response to a customer's concerns. This plastic faucet was installed by a plumber. One year later it was extremely difficult to swivel. Moen sent lubricant with instructions to disassemble the faucet and lubricate the inside! Well I did as instructed on a Friday. It is now the following Tuesday and the faucet is difficult to swivel. Never ever had to disassemble and lubricate a faucet. In man hours and $ this is a very expensive faucet. Disappointed in Moen. Friends have reacted the same as me -- with disbelief. What happened to Moen?

LOOKS GREAT
Date:[April 6, 2013]
The faucet matched our stainless sink nicely. We had to replace a similar type Moen faucet due to it developing a leak inside the handle part. This model was installed by a plumber due to my lacking the proper tools. Our only complaint is that the spigot height isn't as high as our previous model. Also the hose doesn't retract as easily as the other one. This model has what appears to be a nylon braided hose and the previous model had a metal braid wrapping around the hose.

Come on Plastic ! Shame on you Moen.
Date:[April 1, 2013]
I have bought Moen faucets for years because of their durability and lifetime warranty . I need a new faucet to replace the "Made in China" faucet in our laundry room and went to HD to get a Moen . On the wall the display faucet looked great ! Too high up to really check it out and the boxes on the shelves have more security wrap than that used at the CIA. When I got home and opened the box boy was I disappointed ! Not the usual metal faucet but a plastic unit ? I was going to take it back , but I thought I would give it a try . It is installed and has only been used a few times , but I am worried about the cheap plastics parts ! I guess with a Lifetime warranty I can get parts until I am no longer able to turn on the faucet in my old age ! $120.00 for a plastic faucet ?

Good looking, reliable and durable
Date:[March 28, 2013]
This faucet is the updated version of the one I had in my previous home for 15 years. I was so spoiled after that one, I had to get another for this house. The facility of spray or stream is wonderful for all the work to be done at the kitchen sink. Then there is the reliability of the faucet. After 15 years of long use, the old one was still working as well as the day it was installed. I wanted to take it with me but one cannot sell a house without a kitchen faucet. The updated version is now in the new home and is working as well as the old timer I left behind. Moen products work and I have heard them recommended by many plumbers. I have their towel racks, paper dispensers, and other products all over the kitchen and bathrooms. Install it and forget it; it just works! I've been very pleased for many years.

Disappointed with pullout feature
Date:[March 21, 2013]
The pull out feature is stiff and not flexible. You have to physically shove it back into the handle. Probably the reason the mount loosens like everyone says. I will read reviews before purchasing another faucet. As far as a faucet it looks good, but I bought it for the feature..

It fits perfectly.
After only 5 years of use we had to replace the Glacier Bay faucet we bought because it was cheaper. Boy are we sorry! We are full time RVers, seniors trying to fulfill a dream on a budget. Our ex-house was equipped with Moen products throughout. For 15 years Moen was only a phone call away to replace this washer, that innard. Now we repented and did the right thing: we bought the Moen faucet. It was really easy to install (the Glacier Bay one was difficult to remove). The faucet already feels so much better to use. And we KNOW that Moen stands behind their products and will support this faucet at least as long as we will own this trailer. We finally did the right thing!

Good Product, Good Price
Date:[March 7, 2013]
We replaced the Delta faucet that lasted less than 8 years because it leaked. Moen was recommended to us and it looks like we will choose Moen as we begin to replace the Delta fixtures in our home.

Well designed for the DIY'er
Date:[February 25, 2013]
Installation was a snap--the kit even included a socket for removing and installing the nut holding the faucet unit. Solid, attractive and well functioning. We will definitely consider Moen for our next replacement project.

bad product
Date:[February 17, 2013]
my wife brought this home. I had little trouble installing. After a month it became very stiff to turn. Moen sent some lubricant that did not work. Now the nut loosens and it is still very hard to turn.the pull out sprayer works fine but is loosening in its fitting. Would not buy again or recommend to my anyone!

Unbelievably Easy to Install
Date:[February 10, 2013]
I HATE crawling under sinks, almost as much as I hate crawling through dusty attics. My back usually gets sore for a few days from installing faucets. Moen kept the installation time for this faucet to a minimum. I was done in 45 minutes: clean stuff out under sink; remove old faucet; install new faucet; put stuff back under sink; and put away tools. There were no leaks or any problems what-so-ever! Good product Moen!!!

could not believe
Date:[February 5, 2013]
I have heard of someone saying it's to good to be true, well let me tell you, the price, ease of installation, and it is beautiful, just beautiful. I was told it shouldn't take you 2 hours to install, well guess what from removing old unit to installing the new MOEN - Banbury kitchen faucet only took one and a half hours and my wife just loves it. I really could not believe how simple it was compared to the one I installed the last time. Thanks again, keep up the good work designing such great products. It makes me look good. ODIN

Easy to install
Date:[February 3, 2013]
After spending over an hour removing the broken faucet, I was thankful the new faucet installation took less than 20 minutes.
I also sincerely appreciate the extra extension provided to reach behind the sink bowls - it really helped. The guy at MOEN that thought to include the extension needs a raise.

So far so good.
Date:[January 26, 2013]
Installation was pretty easy however I would have liked some written instructions to go along with the pictures. I was a little surprised that the faucet was plastic but that could be a good thing. Only time will tell how durable this faucet is. The faucet looks great and work great. I did notice a significant drop in water pressure with the new faucet.
